Canada to launch a new economic pathway 2023

The honorable Sean Fraser, Minister of Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship announced today that Canada will launch a new economic pathway under Economic Mobility Pathway Pilot to tackling with labour shortage in Canada.

During a keynote speech in Toronto, the honorable minister of IRCC announced that Canada is going to start a new program that will help Canadian employers to hire skilled Refugees and displaced people. This program is expected to start as of this Summer. This pathway will pair skilled refugees and other qualified displaced individuals with Canadian employer and help overcome labour shortage in key occupations that will include nurse aides, personal support workers, long-term care aides, web designers etc.

This will help refugees and other displaced individuals to settle in Canada and help fill labour shortage in Canada at the same time.
