4th program-based draw of Express Entry of year 2023
IRCC held 6th draw of express entry today on March 1st , 2023 and this has been another PNP based draw that issued invitations to 667 PNP candidates with minimum CRS score of 748.
Out of these six express entries draws of 2023, this has been the 4th draw that was program focused; three draws were PNP focused and only one was for federal skilled worker class. It has been more than a month since there has not been any draw that was all program draw. The last draw that was all program based was held on Jan 18, 2023 and since then IRCC only held program specific draws.
It is notable that all program express entry draws were on pause for at least one and half years, there were no draws from January 2021 and all program EE draws only resume in July 2022 and now again there haven’t been any all-program EE draw over a month. It is widely known fact that IRCC is going to have changes to EE draws in year 2023 as IRCC plans to start having occupation based draws. This picture is not very clear yet that how the system will work then if IRCC actually start holding occupation-based draws.
