First draw of all program express entry 2023

Canada held its first draw of Express Entry for year 2023. Immigration Refugee and Citizenship Canada issued invitations to 5,500 candidates with minimum Comprehensive Ranking System score of 507.

This draw includes applicants from all three classes of Express Entry, Canadian Experience Class, Federal Skilled Worker and Federal Skilled Trades Program. The last draw was held on November 23, 2022 at CRS score of 491 where invitation was issued to 4,750 candidates. Thus, this latest draw had an increase in number of invitations issued and is the largest draw since July 2022 when the Express entry draws resumed after a long pause.

Moving forward this year, IRCC will implement the changes to Express Entry draws that was announced in November 2022, IRCC will increase the number of invitations issued to candidates through express entry as per Canada’s Immigration level plan for next three years.
